Tera Šiklová studied applied painting at the Secondary School of Applied Arts (SUPŠ) and completed a bachelor's degree in illustration and graphic design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. She did an internship at the Glasgow School of Art. She is the author of a number of children's books and her work has been featured in many exhibitions.
She illustrated the books Všude samá krása (Nothing But Beauty Everywhere) and Samet blues (Velvet Blues) for the Kher publishing house.
