The first children’s concertina book in Romani and Czech, this is a story about a stingy farmer and a clever Rom in the Easter period, when the spring blossoms. The classic Romani fairy tale, adapted from Matěj Šarközi’s written account, was retold by Stanislava Miková, translated into Czech by Karolína Ryvolová, and supplemented with colourful linocuts and engraved text by Zuzana Mašková. This poetic story of triumph and joy was published jointly by Kher and Meander publishing houses.
Translated from Romani by Karolína Ryvolová, illustrated by Zuzana Hustáková Mašková.
